Sol Dance
Scott Houston & Maya Lemberg
Sol Dance is a free-form movement experience where all bodies are welcomed. We offer a guided sensory journey meant to be experienced in its entirety. The music is meticulously curated by Scott alongside talented percussionists & sound healers – generally not limited to only one genre.
You can expect a culturally-diverse blend of electronic and acoustic sounds, skillfully attuned to the energy of the group. Beginning with an opening meditation and moving into deeper, slower sounds, the bpm & energy peak in the middle, and are finally brought back down, closing with meditative sound healing and a gratitude circle. We invite you to gift yourself the complete experience from start to finish.
Co-Founder & Resident DJ Scott Houston will be offering a delicious set of Ecstatic Dance!
Co-Founder & Ceremonial Maestra Maya Lemberg will set the tone for our dance with an opening/closing meditation.
Friday, 8:45-10:00
Symphony of Serenity
Kennedy OneSelf
A profoundly potent symphonic orchestration of acoustic vibration that guides the listener to the inner stillness where lasting peace resides.
Participants in this voyage through vibration simply lay down and relax. This absolutely incredible sound journey will instill a remarkable tranquility that lingers long after the last sound.
These harmonic vibrations are designed to become a foundation for our journey towards blissfulness.
This is a sound healing like nothing you've ever experienced. Kennedy weaves vibrations so fluidly people often imagine he has six arms. Come be bathed in the sounds of Didgeridoos, RAV Handpan, Asian Harp(Guzheng), crystal & metal singing bowls, Gongs, Flutes(Chinese, Indian, American, Drone), Shruti Box, tibetan bells, Kalimba, ocean drum, rainstick, tubalophone, metallophone, Unity Harp and more.
Kennedy OneSelf is a meditation enthusiast, instrument maker and sound artist whose intention is to lessen the suffering of humanity by facilitating experiences of serenity that can remind us of our divinity. After years of trying to spread spiritual wisdom, he found that a single moment of peace can communicate what no words can say. Discovering the power of intentional resonance, he has devoted the last decade to cultivating a sonic symphony that encourages tranquility.

Join Karen and Margo for a nourishing class of attuning to soul alignment blending body, breath, and sound.
We will enjoy heart opening restorative/yin poses combined with breathwork and simple chants, all while being bathed in the serene frequencies of Himalayan singing bowls. We will then ease into stillness with an extended savasana to the powerful and mysterious vibrations of the Chinese wind gong. In this atmosphere of healing and expansive energy you will be invited into profound relaxation, bringing mind, body, and spirit into a state of optimal resonance.
This is a very gentle and accessible practice for all levels, and beginners are welcome. Karen will teach without props but feel free to bring your own if you need them to practice comfortably. There will be nurturing guidance to help you find ease in each of the postures.
Karen and Margo have been sharing this blissful practice for the past three years at festivals and yoga studios. They are moved by the profound responses of the participants about their transformative experiences during these classes. As team members of the ChantLanta Committee they are passionate about inspiring connection in the community, and are committed to facilitating the raising of vibrations.
Douglas Johnson, a lifelong musician, had taught meditation and yoga for over a decade when it struck him something was missing in his offerings, music! Since then, Kirtan has become integral to every Yoga class, workshop, and retreat he has led. Douglas has studied Vedic mantras with internationally acclaimed author and teacher Russill Paul and played or practiced Kirtan directly with modern masters like David "Durga Das" Newman, Jai Uttal, and Sean Johnson.

Gershone & Gina
Join us for slow flow and restorative yoga with live mantra music. Open to a deeper experience of your grounded, blissful nature!... Yoga and live music together reach where separately they cannot go alone. With decades of devoted practice and offerings between them, Gina and Gershone weave together their respective arts to invite you into communion, bliss, and presence - deeper into your heart and into connection with each other.
When two who have devoted their lives to their art join forces, the creative chemistry is contagious. Gina Minyard and Gershone Hendelberg have more than four decades of practice, teaching, and experience between them in yogic arts and bhakti bliss. Together, they commit their body, mind, heart, breath, and voice in service to the Most High and the majesty of its manifest expressions. In their offerings of yoga, music, meditation, kirtan, and satsang, they invite others into the grounding, elevating, and ever-expanding process of tuning their own divine instruments, and to come together in transformational alchemy, joyful communion, sacred embodiment, and ecstatic celebration. Join them for classes, workshops, trainings, and retreats nationally and worldwide.

Shonali and the Goddess Choir
Shonali Banerjee and the Goddess Choir are thrilled to be returning to Chantlanta having made their debut in March 2020 exactly at the moment when Covid shut down just about everything. The songs Shonali will be sharing are meant to be sung in community where the interweaving of parts and harmonies has the potential to open up our hearts, to soothe our souls, to acknowledge our deep truths and longings for connection, freedom, forgiveness, empowerment and joy. There will be no spiritual bypass in this set of music. We will turn towards truth, the challenges of our times and we will sing our hearts out in hopes of breakthrough and change. Through song we prepare ourselves to face the world as it is and to love with all of our hearts.
